Our Wedding and the Covid-19
Hoping for better days and for this problem to pass quickly so that in the future we can hug, smile, cry and celebrate again with those we love the most.
This pandemic has left us all floored. We are all in the same boat and as your photographer I want to help you find a solution for your wedding so I decided to write some important notes.
First of all it is time to be rational and put emotion aside. Take a deep breath and be patient and courageous. Talk to your family and guests and review your budget, control costs and understand what really makes sense. Good investments are important especially at this time, take advantage of it as a turning point.
Contact your wedding planner and/or the venue, find out from your suppliers what policies they are taking for Covid-19, if postponing and rescheduling has costs or not and what dates are still available for this year or next. At this time, many other couples are doing the same and the choice for the most popular dates like May, June and September are starting to get booked pretty quickly. So, for you to not loose these dates, be quick in this process. From my part, I will do everything to give couples the right to choose a new date.
Consider 2 or 3 possible dates, including weekdays or a Sunday, since you will possibly have more freedom of choice with the venue, and thus ensure that you get a date when all suppliers are available. As I’m longing to hug my parents and friends, I believe your guests will be there for you no matter what day is.
Let's get through this together!
A “virtual” hug from your photographer,
