3 best Wedding Wineries to get married in Rheinland-Pfalz.

Rheinland-Pfalz is home to the largest in Bad Dürkheim and is also know for the first known for the first wine route, the Deutsche Weinstraß. It has over 85 uninterrupted kilometres of lush Moselle Valleys, and breath-taking riverside towns. So it can be to no surprise that it is an ideal location for weddings for the stunning scenery and of course all the wine and Riesling lovers.
However finding the perfect Winery for your wedding can feel somewhat overwhelming as there are so many destinations to choose from without personally visiting everyone. So, one step I always advice my couple in choosing any location is to decide what type of wedding you are actually looking – will it be a large or intimate gathering? Are you into clean aesthetics or something a little rawer? Are you looking for finger food service or do you require a place for a fully catered sit-down meal? Working these details will of course help you out greatly in deciding and will help you narrow your choices down.

I have done my fair share of Winery Weddings all of which were beautiful and special in their own ways; however, I have condensed the list to my top 5 Winery wedding venues In Rhineland Pfalz and if you would like to know more, you’ll just have to read on to find out…

1) Van Volxem

If you are looking for a five star service, exquisite catering, a location that will inspire you with its grand design and award winning wine then look no further. Van Volxem is a winery located in the historic center of wittingen on the saar. It dates to the Roman Villa complex. While the interior is sure to blow you away, the picturesque surrounding grounds are what makes Van Volxem such a special venue. Set among fragrant vineyards and a lush lawn area, your guests won’t know whether to stare at the scenery or the bride!

2) Schloss Saarstein

There is a reason this place is heavily requested. Perched high above the river and the vines
Schloss Saarstein makes for a truly epic location. The building itself is spacious enough to cater to both intimate and larger groups inside, or you can choose to take the celebration to the vast and verdant gardens outside. The sunlight that strikes Schloss Saarstein  is something really special and might be a reason they have been so successful with their winery for years.

3) Margarethenhof

Surrounded by many vineyards and located near the famous Ayler Kupp of which 30 hectares are vineyards, planted almost exclusively with Riesling, Margarethenhof can offer a truly special setting for your wedding. It is more on the affordable side and I have to say every wedding I have had their has been truly fun. I also believe they will start to offer standesamp marriages directly on their grounds. The staff here are also amazing 😊
